Meet Diane

I can honestly say that I knew from a young age that I would pursue a career in psychology and I never veered from that path. Moreover, I still absolutely love my work. I received my B.A, in psychology from the University of Virginia in 1980. I then earned my M.A. in psychology in 1981 and my Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1988, both from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. I completed a clinical psychology internship program at the University of Virginia Medical Center in 1984.

I have experience in a variety of settings including state hospitals, hospital psychiatric units, a university counseling center, a residential treatment facility for adolescents, outpatient community mental health, and private practice. I have been in private practice in Charlotte, NC since 1990.
